Joshua Payne serves as Lead Pastor of The River Church. Before serving as Lead Pastor, he invested several years of ministry into seeing the vision of The River Church expand, from serving in the roles as Student & Assistant Pastors. He attended Jackson College of Ministries for a brief period and currently holds his ordination with the UPCI. He & his wife, Tiffany, are blessed with two children, Londyn and Brantly, & they live in Albany, LA.

Executive Pastor
Michael Nutter serves as the Executive Pastor of The River Church. Before serving as Executive Pastor, he invested several years of ministry into seeing the vision of The River Church expand, from serving in the roles as Student and is currently over the First Impressions Team. He & his wife, Ashley, are blessed with two children, Alaina and Jerrin.

His wife Laikyn is currently the church's secretary. He & his wife, Laikyn, are blessed with one child, Annalyn.

His wife Meagan is the church's social media & photography director. They both play a crucial role in the church's growth.
